Perhaps, in those times, people felt more connected to the land, the animals, and the seasons. My paintings are inspired by this simple kind of life and the story that it tells." Fine Art: Commissions Suzanne has completed many commissioned works in oils, acrylics and pastels. Three recent commissioned works are Bear and Gunnar in the Meadow, Marcel and Milo, and Vermont Escape. Art Instruction Suzanne has taught art classes for children and adults at Holcomb Farm Learning Centers in West Granby. She recently taught several years of Homeschool Art Classes there.\| Education, Graphic Design and Illustration Majoring in Graphic Design, Suzanne graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of Fine Arts in 1983. While still in school she won several awards for her achievements. After working as a full time graphic designer in Boston, she turned to freelance illustration in the Hartford area. Clients included Northeast Magazine, Hartford Monthly, Cabbage Patch Dolls, and Strathmore Paper. Artist's Statement
