Matt Ryan’s Mine Studio has been producing quality work and lessons for over ten years. Starting in a small studio in Simsbury Connecticut, Matt was able to work on his college art projects and operate as a working sister studio to Mark Lewis Creative Arts. Once he published his first comic, BIGGER, he had to close the Simsbury studio and move the operation to his home in Granby. Since then, he has done character design for large companies, published comics, painted and illustrated for a gaming cd, package design and has taken his lessons to a larger audience through organizations like the YMCA and the Farmington Valley Arts Center. He has recently accepted the title of Connecticut coordinator for the nationwide group, the Comic Artists Guild.
