Steve Linde is a Signature Member and former Vice President of the Connecticut Pastel Society. He has worked with pastel, oil and watercolor for over thirty years and continues to explore a variety of surfaces and textures for his paintings.

Steve holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in Education from Central Connecticut State College. He has been teaching art in the Newington Connecticut school system for 41 years. Steve has given pastel workshops and demos for various Art Leagues in Connecticut. Steve has also participated in the Glastonbury on the Green Fine Art & Craft Show as well as the Waterville Maine Festival of Arts Show where he has won several awards including Best in Pastel.

Mr. Linde has had one man shows at different venues around the state of Connecticut. His works have also been exhibited in the Connecticut Pastel Society's numerous shows including a number of Members, Renaissance and Signature Member shows where he has won numerous awards. He is also a member of the Lyme Art Association. Steve resides in East Granby with his wife Pat.
