I began taking pottery lessons shortly before I retired from the business world. My daughter wanted to take lessons and they needed another person in order to hold the class. I loved working with the clay and ended up taking lessons at Expressions Pottery Workshop in East Granby, CT for three years. I went on to become a member of the workshop and joined the Granby Artists Association as well.
I make functional stoneware pottery (which I love doing), but my favorite is creating Raku fired pots. Each piece is a unique work of art.
