Rhubarb (Rhuby) Tolve is a natural creator who was born into a highly artistic family. At just 14 years old, she has already had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from many local artists. In 2025, she had the honor of closing the Recycled Runway Show at the American Mural Project, modeling her mother’s original design.

Rhuby regularly assists in her aunt’s printmaking studio and helps with student instruction at her mother’s art studio, The Art Room. She has recently developed a passion for rug tufting, needle felting, and mixed-media collage. Her collage piece, Whisper of the Lady Slipper, was accepted into the 2025 Granby Land Trust Juried Exhibition at Lost Acres Vineyard, a highly competitive regional show.

A new member of the Granby Artists Association, Rhuby also enjoys volunteering at The Cat Connection, works seasonally at Lost Acres Orchard & Farm, and helps care for animals at several local farms.
